Approximately 1 month ago Angel was excited about starting a new job and getting back on track since the beginning of the pandemic when he and I both became unemployed.  Angel had gotten a small little cut under his foot in Mid May and was treating it with antibiotic ointment. By late may the small cut had become infected . The infection spread within days despite the fact that his doctor gave him a shot of antibiotics and oral antibiotics. On Monday June 5th he came home and could barely walk, and he was sweating and trembling because he felt so cold. This continued for a few days and on Thursday morning he couldn't bear the pain and decided that evening we would go to the E.R. On Thursday evening he went straight to the E.R. after his work day ended, because his foot felt like it was on fire. His sugar level skyrocketed to 900. His A1C levels were at 12. Blood pressure through the roof and body was going into shock. By 3am Angel was told he had hours to live and his leg would have to Be amputated. He was terrified because may not make it and if he did his life would forever change. I prayed with him and Jesusis right there with you... Angel is truly a miracle.. he made it despite how critical he was.. Thank you heavingly father for your love and mercyπŸ™πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ. Angel has a long journey, ahead of him , to heal, get strong, learn to live and eventually walk with a prostheses. He won't be able to work for some time and he could use all the support , he can get both financially and emotionally. We thank you and appreciate your help during his recovery. God bless you all

Day after first surgery wound vac was attached for 5 days and would have to return to surgery once again for the completion of 2nd operation to remove all tissue in the middle and close wound by creating flap with skin. Second surgery was even longer and much more painful. He experienced a few complications with infections ,but thank God everything turned out well! After 15 days, he was transferred to another hospital to begin physical and occupational therapy . Despite all the trauma, and complications he endured  in the last several weeks and the the lengthy process and recouperation awaits him ,he manages to be in good spirits and is grateful to be alive. Please keep him in your prayers.
