Hi, my name is Diamond! I’m a Boy Mom of 2: A 17-year-old named Tommy and an 8-year-old named King Lamín. Since 2022, I have been residing in a less than desireable area, and dealing with heartache, and the heartbreak of an having an at-risk youth! My son Thomas has been in and out of the juvenile detention system in NYC for a few years now.
I am trying my hardest as a mom to give my boys a better life. To put myself in a better position so when Tommy is released/does come home, I will relocated, already have a new home, and all his needs taken care of.
And ULITMATELY TO SAVE MY SON TOMMYs LIFE!
It is ONLY me and my boys! I have no real support system here in NYC, and I recently had to DROP OUT OF COLLEGE, because I have no active help.
IT IS absolutely PIVOTAL, that I give my son Tommy a fighting chance at life! The internal battle I face everyday with the uncertainty of the future of my family literally make me sick to my stomach. I need to create a safe space, and a healthy environment where BOTH of my Boys can flourish, and live happy, safe, normals lives. And so that Tommy can become the productive man in society I know he can be. I fear if I’m not able to Tommy will either be lost to the system that’s been a revolving door for the last few years, or to the streets! And after all the loss that we’ve suffered these last few years I can’t really take much more!
So, I’m asking for help so that I may obtain a USED VEHICLE (preferably a minivan) so keep employment, get back and forth to doctor appointments/therapies for King Lamín, who is also an Autism Warrior. And to also help get back and forth to NYC for any future court dates, and family visits that Tommy will have while being incarcerated in the juvenile detention. As we know one of the best, and effective rehabilitation is FAMILY & LOVE ♥️!
