Hi family, friends and kind-hearted strangers,
We’re reaching out with love and hope to support Bobby and Shawna Warren as they navigate an incredibly difficult chapter in their lives.
In 2022, Bobby was diagnosed with melanoma, and they thought that after getting the melanoma removed, his cancer story had ended. Just recently, they received devastating news, the cancer has metastasized to Bobby’s brain. This has led to urgent and intensive treatment, including brain surgery, chemotherapy, and ongoing infusion therapy at a specialized cancer center, City of Hope Los Angeles.
While Bobby focuses on healing, he’s also unable to work. The financial strain of traveling back and forth to L.A. — covering gas, lodging, food, and other living costs — is quickly becoming overwhelming.
We’ve created this fundraiser to help ease the burden so Bobby and Shawna can focus on what matters most: his recovery and spending time together as a family.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps cover:
• Travel to and from Los Angeles for treatment
• Hotel stays and meals during treatment weeks
• Essential bills and living expenses while Bobby is out of work
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with others. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can say.
As Bobby and Shawna navigate this difficult time, they are also the proud parents to Kylie, who will be attending College of the Sequoias in the spring, and Eddie, who is currently a Junior at Mt. Whitney Highschool and a starting varsity football player.
Let’s surround Bobby and Shawna with the love and strength they’ve always shown others. Not only is Bobby a Navy Veteran who served our country proudly, but he and Shawna have always been a big part of helping with the Mt. Whitney football program and youth. Bobby is part of the JV football coaching staff, and Shawna is always there to take care of the boys in whatever way she can, whether that be taking pictures, creating the program to be sold every Friday night, helping with team meals, setting up for games, or providing a motherly figure on the sideline that all the boys love. Thank you so much for standing with them in this fight.
With gratitude,
Stephanie Williams
