Hi friends! I'm asking on behalf of my significant others mother Linda busch. Recently Linda was a victim of fraud that took not only her home but her entire financial livelihood.

Please help Linda Busch cover the cost of moving expenses and retaining an attorney We were contacted by a detective in the Brooklyn Park police department that Linda had been a subject of a scam fraud case.

Upon meeting with the officer, we were informed the bank had placed a flag towards suspicious activity on her account, as well as financial elderly abuse. She had come in contact with people that supposedly were working through Publisher's Clearing House. They told her that she had won a vast amount of money and that she needed to sell her home to cover taxes in order to receive the winnings. She then contacted a local company and sold her home, of which she only received a very small equity check. She had gone into the branch office and informed the branch managers of her new winnings through Publisher's Clearing House, and that she wanted a cashier's check. At this point, Huntington filed an elder abuse case, the Brooklyn Park Police were notified, and representatives from Huntington Bank stated they would not be issuing a check, which the bank has the power to do. However, after a week had passed there was no contact made with her by police and a check had been made to clear out Linda's life savings. Linda then was instructed to cash the check at a local check cashing facility. At which point they charged a great deal for her cashing this check, and gave her the rest in cash. The check cashing facility also did not report the incident. She placed the cash into a plastic bag and went to meet with the scammers claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. She was then robbed by these scammers.

Currently, we are trying to sort out the matter and are reaching out to anyone to help. This includes lawyers, the police, friends, and family. Linda is now getting messages for her to leave her home that she has been in for over 35 years. But given the incident, she is left destitute with no money, no home, and mental health issues. Her daughter was staying with her an assisting her while attending school full time. Due to the rapid development of this situation she was not financially prepared to pay, for what we all know these days is a vast amount of deposits and moving costs to secure housing. We are looking for anything that can be given to help with finding a new home and eventually getting back to some sort of normalcy.

We appreciate y'all!
