Help 6-Year-Old Ryan See Again - Surgery, Medicine & Hospital
I am Ryan. I am 6 years old from Huautepec, Hidalgo, Mexico.
I have been blind since I was 8 months old after an accident. One of my eyes is completely lost, but doctors say my other eye can still be saved with surgery.
The total cost is $38,191 Mexican Pesos (approx $2,400 USD).
This amount includes:
- Eye surgery
- Post-surgery medicines
- Hospital reservation and medical studies
My family is low-income and cannot afford it alone. We are raising it "pesito a pesito" - little by little.
In my video you can see me walking with my white cane in the main square of Huautepec, coloring, and waiting at the eye clinic. My medical report (ocular ultrasound July 17, 2024) shows OD Leucoma and OI Leucoma.
