Dear Family and Friends,
We are writing to you today to inform you of the passing of Gregory Robert Young. As many of you will know he was struggling with MS. On May 1st he passed unexpectedly. It has been the most difficult last few days of our lives trying to navigate and grieve through something we never thought we’d have so face soon. He was the backbone of our family and always had the ability to lift us up when we were down! We are absolutely devastated by our dad's passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. We’ve started this SpotFund to collect donations for the funeral service. Our hope is to honor him in the best possible way and allow a space for our family and friends to grieve and honor his passing with us.
Greg was the best Dad anyone could ask for. He always had a generous heart and was a great friend to so many people. Through his sheet metal business he employed over 100 young people and taught them life skills along the way, that’s just how he was! He operated his business out of Agoura and Newbury Park and it was his pride and joy! Greg also created so many friendships through baseball, bowling, pool leagues, fishing, camping, his 6 years of service in the National Guard and so much more. Many consider Greg a pretty special person!
