Our family is not one to want any handouts, but this one cuts deep and was so unexpected.  Our mom did not have any life insurance or anything to help with her funeral.  My brothers and I just want to be able to have a beautiful memorial for her without having to stress the cost of everything.

Every donation is truly appreciated.  If you can't donate prayers are free and we could use an eternity of those.

Thank you everyone for all of your condolences  🙏 means more than yall know!!

Emy McAleese

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend

May 22, 1971 – June 21, 2025

Emy McAleese, age 54, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, in Temple, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Japan in 1971, Emy moved to the United States as a child and made a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was the heart and soul of her family—an endlessly devoted wife to Patrick McAleese, a proud and loving mother to Justin Love, Darrell Love, Alissa Klatt, and Sean McAleese, and a cherished grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Eythan, Emyle, Aria, Alani, Liam, Maverik, Mehki, Mehlani, Grace, Alexis, Adrian, and Ezra.

Emy found joy in the simple things—being outdoors, spending time with her children, her grand-babies and listening to the timeless voice of Elvis Presley. Her laughter, warmth, and kindness were gifts she freely gave to all who crossed her path. She was the one everyone could count on—always present, always caring, always full of love.

To her children, she often said “143”—a simple code for “I love you” that now holds even greater meaning. It’s how she lived her life: with love at the center of everything she did.

She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering love. Emy was truly a wonderful human being—deeply treasured and endlessly missed.

As we remember Emy we can find comfort in this poem,

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there. I did not die.

—Mary Elizabeth Frye

Emy’s spirit will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she loved so deeply.
