Hi, I'm Todd Smith. I broke my leg 19 months ago and was instantly fired from a job I excelled at. I developed a bone infection and subsequently glaucoma, and I'm currently 85% blind. I was a minister and missionary for many years. So were my parents, founding a successful charity overseas for homeless men and the addicted community. Now home after 17 years, they are married 61 years and we are officially poor. As they worked as missionaries, they have little social security; I have nothing. Our house and car are going to be repossessed, I've run up 4 credit cards to their max and cannot pay. My life savings is vastly depleted.
We've helped people all our lives; it's hard to receive, but I'm now begging for assistance. My brother will not help even though he's wealthy due to my parents' mental health needs, which is ironic as we supported him his whole life. Trying not to be bitter. Please, please find it in your hearts to help us. These are trying times and our cupboards are bare. I'm a man of faith, as is my family, and we need your help today. Thank you in advance.
