Family and friends,
Izael and Carlo have joined a club to compete in track and field! They are excited, training three times per week with the LA Jets (Los Angeles Jets Track and Field Club) which was established in 1973 with a few young athletes from a local elementary school and church. Through the efforts of an all-volunteer coaching staff this organization has expanded to one hundred and eighty-five athletes, ranging from the age of 6-7 to eighteen over the years. We compete nationwide in the USA track & Field League, Region 15 in the Southern California Association.
Over the last fifty years, The Los Angeles Jets have become one of the most competitive track teams in the United States, producing the following results:
- 204 Individual National Champions
- 159 National Championship Relay Teams
- 66 National Records
We are required to fundraise $250 per child not only for the money but also to get you excited about supporting them in their upcoming competitions!
