My sister recently underwent emergency surgery followed by an ICU stay, and while we are so grateful she’s still here and beginning to recover, she still has a long road ahead of her. She’ll be in the hospital for another week and out of work for some time while her body heals from such a major surgery.
Right now, we’re just trying to surround her with love, support, and as little stress as possible while she recovers.
