I wanted to share a bit about what's been going on lately. After leaving a difficult apartment (slumlord)situation in Birmingham , things took an unexpected turn. I managed to find a safer place in Pelham, but along with starting a new job, I got hit with some leftover bills from the old place and the new setup costs. It's a bit overwhelming right now. I had just come off of a month of being unemployed and this wiped out my bank account.
Finding extra work has been tricky. All the delivery gigs are packed, and I can't do physical jobs like I used to, which is a bit frustrating. But I'm keeping my spirits up. Working in insurance gives me hope that this is just a temporary setback.
Through all of this, my cat, Miso, has been such a comfort. It's just the two of us trying to figure things out, and knowing you’re there means the world to us. Thank you for your understanding and for being part of our lives as we navigate these bumps in the road.
