Welcome to the Happen Upon It Forest Path—a community-building, living art surprise trail tucked into the trees, the next step on the way to creating to WilderHouse, a hundred acre wood of the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible, aiming to make the revolution irrisistable.

Through the ferns and around each bend, there are invitations to slow down, notice the earth, and reconnect with each other through play and curiosity, as well as offer a human sized flower to nap in while you contemplate the beauty of this existence, for example. Each
surprise along the path will offer a **prompt for reflection or creation or playful discovery**, turning an ordinary walk into an experience of belonging and delight.

Building the path will be a community effort. WilderHouse believes in the power of teamwork, garden snacks and art, so we won't skimp on any of that here! Friends, neighbors, and volunteers will gather reclaimed items, join in to build, and add their mark to the magic, making the act of creation as meaningful as the art itself. The project will also support local artisans and food growers: thinkhand-poured candles, garden-fresh snacks, small-batch teas, locally built benches and tables, or weather-proof fabrics and art that withstand Northwest rain to allow for accumulation of our inspirations.

Your support will help build the path itself: natural structures, small sculptural surprises, hand-made signs and installations that spark both laughter and contemplation.

Every donation goes directly to materials and to sustaining the collaborative work that makes this living art possible.
