Hello, My friend lynnie and I are starting this campaign to save a group of chickens that are in a position to have a shortage of food for the next couple months. This is a regular position for many farmers to be in this time of year. We have to decide to if we are going to process or save the laying hens to be working hens this next spring. Its a benefit to the farm to keep the chickens for the farm as always having to start fresh is a process in its own right, a nd is a process we wish we could entirely skip this time of year.
