The number of homeless grows daily in Hemet, Ca. and across America. People sleeping on cardboard boxes, families huddled together under park benches with thin tarps for protection from the elements. The needs are great. I do what i can out of pocket, but a camper van will enable me to reach out to neighboring towns as well. The $75k would provide me options towards either a camper-van for getting around, or a mobile soup kitchen and supplies. Ultimately, long-term wise, a building w/soup kitchen, stage for music services, showers, storage lockers, bike-rack, a designated area for clothing drop-offs, such as t-shirts, underwear, jackets, hoodies, socks, gloves and toiletries.
