Hello! I’m Keri! I’m going through a terrible custody battle and need all the help I can get!
I have tried representing myself during this custody trial (minus the year I had a lawyer through the state) for 5 years and my custody case has been continued to February 2, 2026. This has been ongoing since 2021. I’d love it if any of my friends and family would be able to help me retain a lawyer to help me.
Backstory:
2017 Teklyn was born and I was a stay at home mom. This lasted until June 1, 2019 when I had to leave the apartment. (I did have a job for about 6 months during that time which was at the daycare he attended.) Since then I was able to see Teklyn about a handful of times until the pictures and visits came to an abrupt stop. Covid stopped the world. It was a long year and a half of not seeing Teklyn or anything until the courts opened back up and I was able to spend time with him again. Fast forward to today, August 2025, I went to court and it didn’t go as I wanted. It was continued until February 2, 2026, which is 6 more months of the minimal time I get with him now. 6 more months of alienating him from me. 6 more months of him being told lie after lie. I just want a better situation for him!
