I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but life took an unexpected turn. Over the past few months, I became seriously ill and was hospitalized, which caused me to fall behind on my rent. During that time, I was unable to fully manage my finances the way I normally would.
Although I am now recovering and doing everything I can to get back on my feet, I am still short on rent and facing possible eviction. I am working toward stabilizing my finances, but the setback from being sick has put me in a very difficult position.
