Telling our story isn't easy as we tend to try and be pretty private people; however my husband was diagnosed last year with cholangiocarcinoma which is a rare cancer. Between us we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
Here is a little about our wonderful husband, father and best friend. He spent over the last 26yrs helping others as a Firefighter, ICU nurse, a Survival Flight nurse, a Er nurse, Trauma educator and then finally the Simulation Educator. He had a passion in life for always doing for others, which sometimes meant days away from his family. He was my hero as well as that of our children. He inspired others around him to want to be better nurses and inspired 2 of our 5 children to go after a career in nursing as well.
John Booth would be there for anyone who needed him and never ask for help in return. Many didn't even know he was suffering through each day with this horrible disease as he continued on each day with a smile.
About 6weeks ago now the cancer just took over and he has had to stop working and go on hospice, this in its self has been difficult for him as he is not one to just lay around and do nothing.
John was the one who made the money in the family and while I do work helping others myself not having his income has been difficult and we have to also plan a funeral for him that with his decline will be any day now.
So as hard as this is for me to do I am asking that anyone who is able to help right now take off some financial burden off our family, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You for just even listening to his story and may God bless each of you reading this,
His Loving Wife
Crystal
