May 15, 2024, I went for a walk after passing out from a heart incident stunned and perplexed and I believe now in my confused state that God opened the clouds and the sun shone and I heard, "remember AA".
I downloaded the big book and listened to it for 2 days. I fell to the ground, and I cried spiritually for hours as I felt a higher power connection had shown me the answer for help, I am an alcoholic.
On the third day I was still in awe of what I just heard, and I happened upon a wooden cross hanging on the wall and I dropped to my knees and said I'm sorry and asked for forgiveness, help, wisdom, power, and to show me a guided path of light to follow and I will do your will higher power, God, "please if you're there I ask for a new way"
I then suddenly felt my Deamon soul ripped from my heart and I was empty and cried and was suddenly in search to seek this power I felt that made me feel so well. I literally found Jesus in a drawer shortly after and I hold that in my wallet. I drove to a lake and sat in the woods and there I listened to prayer. I learned then that to connect with God I could fast and walk as Jesus did.... do I did. For 6 days I fasted and walked all day while listening to prayer. And on the 7th day I was given a sign of greed, which I paid forward to a church.
From that day I can't explain it, but my life has changed. My life seems to fall into place as in a flow of good when I focus my efforts on my higher power God which I find this connection in AA meetings.
I have since replaced that empty feeling with 100's of meetings, retreats, millions of miles walking to meetings, and changing my way of living to a sober life where I try best to help others.
I was on a retreat a month back and it was incredibly spiritual, and I truly feel I was given a message to use my skills to help. You see, I've been fixing real estate for over 25 years as a hobby. A skill I learned from my dad's, and I was always selfishly trying to make money for me. Now, I have some higher desire for some reason to save a church.
Well, there is a church for sale but I don't have the cash to buy it so I can save it. I have the knowledge and will to fix it, but I can't afford to save it.
I am asking for help. I asked God if it's his will that my solano coins will increase by 10,000% today but I don't think that will happen. Then as I got the message 9 months ago when it said remember AA and it saved my life... I got a message that said, use your skills and try GoFundMe.
So here I am, a disabled Software Engineer that is out of work due to a car hitting me a few months ago and I want to buy and save a church to give purpose in my life and provide a place for others to also find help and purpose in their lives.
But I need help, your help, if its Gods will, it will be done.
In exchange for your help, if this purchase and repair goes per Gods will and I can reopen the grounds and building for public access, I give anyone who donates at least $50 free entry to a tour of the church which is near New York City. Anyone who donates $500 will get a free night's stay in one of the bedrooms in the parish house. Anyone who donates $5000 will get a weekend in the bedrooms along with a tour.
I am not a religious entity right now and my business cannot give tax deductions, but If I can change that I will work with you to help with your donation as a tax credit if possible, however, for now, I can only promise you visit rights and entry to the church next to New York City if I can buy this but I only have a few days to come up with the money.
