Help Me Wear the Red, White & Blue: Support My Journey to Represent Team USA at the Maccabi Games
My name is Gino Indelicato, and I've been given the honor of a lifetime: to represent the United States as a member of Team USA Hockey at the 2026 Maccabi Games in Israel.
For as long as I can remember, the hockey rink has been my home. It’s where I learned about resilience, teamwork, and the power of community. That community has carried me—from a kid with not always new gear, supported by a single mom who worked tirelessly, to a junior hockey player competing in the USPHL. Now, it has led me to this incredible chance to represent my country on an international stage.
This isn't just a personal dream; it's a shared victory. It's for every coach who gave me a chance, for my teammates, and for my mom, whose sacrifices made every early practice possible. Making the team is just the first step. Getting there requires sponsorships and donations.
My Journey & Why This Matters:
· The Honor: Selected for my play and character to compete in the "Jewish Olympics," a global event celebrating sport, heritage, and unity.
· The Hockey Path: A proven competitor as a USPHL All-Star (selected 2 of 4 years) and Alternate Captain, known for my hockey IQ and playmaking.
· The Character: Hockey taught me to give back. I've volunteered coaching kids since I was 14 and am co-founding a non-profit to make sports accessible to underprivileged youth. I carry my community with me.
· The Academic Drive: I've maintained a 3.9 GPA, believing excellence off the ice is as important as excellence on it.
