While Mimzy and her family were on a walk in their hometown, Parker City, IN, they were attacked by 2 owned, unleashed dogs. The dogs first went after Mimzy's sister Iylah and their owner Lisa. Lisa was able to scoop up Iylah, but Mimzy ran before she could be picked up. The dogs were distracted by Mimzy and ran after her, sparing Lisa and Iylah. The dogs caught Mimzy and killed her in front of their owner, Mimzy's owners, and Iylah. Legal action is being pursued against the owner of the dogs, and the cost is high.
