My name is Dina. I am 28 years old, a mother of three children, and currently pregnant. I am from Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.
Since the beginning of the war, my life has completely changed. I have been displaced more than ten times, moving from one place to another in search of safety for myself and my children. Each time, we lost another part of the life we once knew.
Our home was destroyed. I also lost my brother and his entire family—they were all killed. My husband and my children were injured as well. Those were some of the most painful and difficult days I have ever experienced. There are no words that can truly describe the fear, grief, and loss I have lived through, or the pain of a mother trying to protect her children while she herself desperately needs protection.
Today, I am living with my children in a school that has become a shelter for displaced families. I am pregnant, and we no longer have a home to return to or a safe place to rebuild our lives. We are simply trying to meet our most basic daily needs, including food, medicine, clothing, and essential supplies for my children and my pregnancy.
I created this fundraising link because I urgently need support to provide for my family and give my children the basic safety and dignity they deserve during these incredibly difficult circumstances.
I know that no amount of money can erase what we have been through. No donation can bring back my brother and his family or restore our home and the life we once had. But your support can help us survive, care for our children, and meet our essential needs.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my story and to everyone who can support us or share our fundraising link with others. Every act of kindness means so much to us and gives us a little hope to keep going.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with my family. May your kindness be returned to you many times over.
