My name is Patrisha Emly and I'm a single mother of 4 kids. Recently I have been having really bad problems with my stomach and breathing. I went to the general surgeon where I live and they are referring to to the general surgeon who does surgery procedures on the stomach that is 4 hours away. I will be out of work and won't be able to support my children for the first 6 weeks of healing. I will also need to drive to the clinic and find a hotel for the 4 nights for my friend to stay while in surgery and being monitored. I don't normally ask for help but I can't afford to not pay my bills along with the expenses to go have the surgery. Any help would be greatful. Thank you.

Update on how my consultation went in Billings MT with the general surgeon.
They were going to do the surgery but now he want to talk to their gi doctor. The might do more tests or agree to just do surgery and see if it corrects it. He is concerned that my esophagus is weak because they saw spasms in the muscles and they won't be able to wrap my stomach around it. My esophagus got weak due to me having gerd. I never had these issues before. But he also didn't completely read it as he pushed on my Stomach and I started to hurt due to a hernia that he didn't know I had. Which states it in the papers. He only saw that my esophagus had slight spams and that was all he read basically. So I will get a call when they decide what to do and go from there. If they won’t correct it in billings I’ll request Bismarck for a second opinion or minot from my general surgeon. I’m hoping I won’t need surgery on the esophagus as he said it’s possibly damaged. 🥺
