Hello my name is Ashley. I am a single mom of 3. They say it takes a village and honestly, I just don't have one. My mom took her own life in 2018. My father just passed away 6 months ago. My aunt who basically raised me passed in 2022. Do not have siblings. I lost a lot of friends when I got sober. I have been sober for over two years now. So I'm writing this as if I were my ex husband. This is what I imagine he would say....

My name is Juan. I am a "father" of two girls from two women. My eldest is going to college soon and her mom did such an amazing job that she will be getting scholarships. She is beautiful, intelligent, and a wonderful human despite me.

My other daughter is 10. She is also beautiful, intelligent, and extremely kind. Once again... Despite me, not because of me.

My ex wife and I got divorced back in 2019 after I said to her, "no wonder your mom committed suicide. I would want to die if you were my daughter too." And then proceeded to call the police and claim she hit me. She got arrested that night. By morning, the police knew it was bs, charges were dropped, and she was free to go home. But not before she had to hug her kids goodbye in handcuffs. By the time she got home, I had packed my clothes and left. I left a note on the counter that she didn't deserve it.

She ended up pressing changes against me twice for domestic battery. And if you know anything about domestic violence, there were many times before she had enough and followed through with the charges. The second time charges were filed, we weren't even together anymore. I put my hands on her during an exchange of our daughter while she was holding her.

There are sooo many other things I have done and not been held accountable for as well. Like when I got caught taking videos up a random girl's skirt at the bar, slept with multiple women while they were asleep (my ex wife even found a video of it when we split. But don't worry, I told her "that's not r___. You can't r___ your own wife"). I punched a guy I didn't know during a family dinner at Golden corral.

What I was held accountable for though is... 3 years ago, my ex wife was asking for my visitation to be supervised. During that time a guardian ad lietm was appointed. The GAL urged my ex to let me take my daughter unsupervised one Saturday. She listened. That day, May 20th 2023, I choked my then 7 year old daughter. My own friend testified against me as a witness. The charges were felony level but I took a plea deal and accepted a misdemeanor. There is still an order of protection in place.

Reunification therapy was ordered through court. I couldn't afford it. So my ex wife was kind enough to suggest family therapy instead which would be covered by my insurance. Well, on the last session, I threw an absolute tantrum. We went back to court and I lost my rights. In order to get ANY sort of visitation once the OOP expires, I will have to pay for the original therapy ordered. (And she will need a lawyer which is another expense to help her protect our daughter)

Since I don't have access to my daughter, I have decided I don't need to pay child support. When my ex wife asked me to make a payment, I told her "how do you think my other daughters mom feels? She's in the same boat". Gross statement, I know. I just don't care about anyone but me.

The goal amount set in this fundraiser is the approximate amount I am behind in child support to my youngest daughters mother. And if we raise more than the goal she plans to give some money to my eldest daughters mom. But right now, she is struggling. She works full time. Her father passed away a few months ago. She's having car problems ect.

So I started this fundraiser to get money to my daughter that I make zero effort for. To finally get off my chest what a terrible human I am, and to warn other women, if you see me at the bar... Stay far away. I am in a long term relationship, but that's never stopped me before.

If you've reached the end of this description, this is where I tell you, obviously, my ex husband didn't write this. I (Ashley) wrote this. This is what I imagine he would say/do if he cared about anyone but himself.

So, here it is. I am a struggling single mom who's ex husband can't be bothered to do the bare minimum. If there is anything you can do to help, it is very much appreciated. I have done it by myself for as long as I could but it's time to swallow my pride and ask for help.

TLDR: My abusive ex husband refuses to help take care of the kids he helped make and has also been violent to my daughter. I am a single mom asking for help.
