Our mission is to promote and support Black maternal and infant health by providing scholarships to aspiring professionals in natural childbirth and lactation. Through our scholarship program, we aim to remove financial barriers and empower Black aspiring professionals to achieve their goal of helping to improve Black maternal and infant health outcomes. We believe that all families should have access to evidence-based information and resources sensitive to their community in order to help them make informed decisions about their birthing and lactation experiences. Our desire is to be the catalyst for more Black birthing and lactation professionals in the justice movement in order to provide the cultural support that the community needs.
