I’m writing this about my son, and I don’t know where to start.
My 14 year old son, I am beyond words proud of him. He is very respectful and polite, does so good in school, he’s A’s & B’s but has his own goal he wants to bring home straight A’s. He’s very close to it but he gets upset when he gets his progress report or report card.
He’s been talking about going into service which he’s currently doing research on all the branches.
I put him in martial arts/karate and he been on it every day learning forms and studying his book. He is excited and wants to learn everything. I’m excited for him and super proud of him.
The karate school is going to a tournament in October that he is supposed to go and be in and unfortunately I can’t afford it, unfortunately I’m not able to work under doctors orders, I’m on a fixed income which sucks cause I SSSSSOOOOOO MISS working, I was a workaholic, but anyways I’d have to rent a car and pay for the hotel and food and that’s a lot that I just can’t come up with in time, it would take me months to save that up and I still wouldn’t be able to do it on a low fixed income trying to take care of 2 teenagers but I don’t want to let him down or disappoint him cause he is supposed to be testing for his next belt.
I want to surprise him and be able to take him to this as he has done so much and worked so hard to be able to be in this tournament.
I don’t have a car as mine got totaled January of 2025 which is why I’m fighting disability due to my spine being messed up in 2 different spots I’m under doctor orders I can’t work, as we as a torn and dislocated hip.
I wanna make this possible for my baby boy but I need help with the following
Rental car
Hotel costs
Gas
Possibly food
I would love nothing more to be able to surprise him and take him to this, it don’t take much to make him happy but this would make his face light up the world as he thinks we are not going to be able to go cause of our financial situation and I’d like to prove to him otherwise.
I added a picture of my sonshine, whom is also my pride and joy, this is something he definitely deserves for all the hard work he has done. It don’t take much to make this kid happy but I love the priceless look of happiness on his face as he climbs up.
Thank you for your time
