There are some moments in a mother’s life that are almost too big for words. This is one of them. ❤️
From the moment Lance was placed in my arms, he had my whole heart. I blinked, and that tiny little boy who once held my hand has grown into a strong, kind, wonderful man. Being his mom has been one of the greatest blessings God has ever given me.
And now, I get to watch him begin a brand new chapter.
With a full heart and a few happy tears, I’m so proud to share that my son, Lance, will be marrying Abby on May 30, 2026 in Mississippi. 💍
Abby, God truly knew what He was doing when He brought you into Lance’s life. You are everything a mother hopes her son will find—kind, loving, and someone who loves him deeply. Thank you for loving our boy. We are so blessed to welcome you into our family.
People say when your son gets married you “lose a son,” but I don’t see it that way. Instead, God blessed our family with a daughter. And that is something my heart is so grateful for.
A part of me will always see the little boy who needed his mom, but my heart is so proud of the man he has become and the life he is about to build.
