HI! I'm Madison! I'm a Music Composition Major at the University of Oklahoma!
I recently got accepted into the prestigious Texas New Music Festival as a Composer Fellow! From July 6th-July 13th, I'll be in Houston learning from great musicians through a series of professional development classes and a series of concerts. I'll be presenting 3 different pieces: a flute solo, a piano duet, and a larger ensemble work. People from all over the country are attending this event and this is a huge honor and privilege to be chosen for this festival.
This fundraiser helps in a variety of ways. The University of Oklahoma may help with my airfare, but everything else is on me. This money will help with various expenses such as my hotel stay for the trip and the fees for the festival.
Festival fees will be paid over time. I have a downpayment due by March 30th of $200 followed by 2 payments of $650 each by the end of April and May.
This is a huge opportunity for me and anything you could give would be greatly appreciated!
