There are moments when a mother should be worrying about nothing more than feeding her children, keeping them warm, and watching them grow. Instead, Asil , just 21 years old, is fighting to provide the most basic necessities for her two babies while living in a tent that is not fit for habitation.
Asil is married and the mother of two young children: her 2-year-old daughter, Jenin, and her 4-month-old son, Usaid. She married during the war and has been forced to build what little life she can inside a small tent, without a stable home and without any source of income.
This is not simply a request for financial assistance. It is a young mother asking for help to keep her children fed, safe, and cared for.
Asil’s Story
My name is Asil, I am 21 years old, married, and have two children: a boy named Usaid, who is 4 months old, and a girl named Jenin, who is 2 years old.
I got married during the war and live in a small tent that is unfit for habitation. My situation is very difficult, and we have no source of income.
