Deeply touched by the recent events in Ukraine, I decided to join #CookForUkraine to raise funds for UNICEF and support their efforts in raising money to help Ukrainian families. On Friday 3/11/22 at 6pm EST, I'll be hosting a virtual cooking class. 100% of the registration fees will be donated. Here is the link to the class...

Virtual Cooking Class

Many people also asked me if they could donate money without joining the class and that's the reason I started this page!

Hearing about the war and about all of these people fleeing Ukraine is very near and dear to my heart...

I was born in Poland and my family and I left Poland when I was 5 years old. My family felt suppressed due to the communist government and my parents didn’t see a good future for my sister and I. One day the opportunity presented itself and my parents made the difficult decision that we would all flee Poland together. While we were not fleeing a war, I still remember leaving our home and our belongings behind, moving to a new country (Germany), and learning a new language. The fact that we relied on the generosity and kindness of strangers to carry us through the difficult time was also a big part of what helped us.
Now, I have an opportunity to be a blessing to strangers across the world, so I would like to use it. We never know when we may need a helping hand, so let's help others when they need one. PLEASE help in any way you can๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›!
