In 2023, I was diagnosed with heart failure and I was stunned by it. Fast forward to 2025 tested me in ways I never imagined—but I’m still here, still fighting.
In March 2025, I underwent open-heart surgery and had an LVAD placed to save my life. I was hospitalized for two and a half months, yet I managed to keep my bills paid and my household together while continuing to push forward.
Since then, I’ve faced complications that required additional hospital stays, including severe nosebleeds and fluid overloads. Nearly a year later, I should be on the heart transplant list, but due to my BMI, I have not yet been placed.
Because of my health, I’ve lost all income except for $964 a month in disability, making it extremely difficult to cover rent, bills, and daily living expenses. I am only asking for the money for additional to catch up on past due bills due to random hospitalizations.
