I rarely post anything personal about my life on social media but as few of you know, I started getting sick last year and this past March, I became severely ill and was rushed to hospital from work. I have been in and out of the hospital and under a doctors care. I have lost a total of 30 pounds since last June. I now have trouble walking, I can no longer stand on my feet no more than an hour or 2 a day, stay in severe chronic pain, it’s hard for me to keep any food or liquids down at times and have not been able to work due to my diagnosis.
Pelvic Congestion Syndrome(PCS) diagnosis. Pelvic Venous Disease. It is where veins of the pelvis enlarge due to valve malfunction. The blood, no longer able to flow back towards the heart, pools in the pelvic area which can potentially lead to significant disability. A condition that occurs when the veins in the pelvis are unable to adequately drain blood back to the heart. Few other diagnosis I have been given are hepatomegaly(enlarged liver) as well as hydronephrosis(swelling of one or both kidneys. Kidney swelling happens when urine can't drain from a kidney and builds up in the kidney as a result. This can occur from a blockage in the tubes that drain urine from the kidneys (ureters) or from an anatomical defect that doesn't allow urine to drain properly. Also diagnosed with a Distended Bladder. And lastly, diagnosis is possible non-Hopkins lymphoma( a type of cancer that begins in your lymphatic system, which is part of the body's germ-fighting immune system. In non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, white blood cells called lymphocytes grow abnormally and can form growths (tumors) throughout the body. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to check on me.  I can’t express just how much it truly means.. I have never been this sick before and not been able to go to work and that part is really taking a toll on me mentally and emotionally. I’m currently on medical leave from my job and my doctors do not know at this time when I will be able to return to work. This has left me with zero income coming in and I am the only provider for myself, so I have made this fundraiser in order to receive some donations no matter how small or how big so I can keep my bills up-to-date and I don’t lose my home.
