Hello, my name is Jenn, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment of your time to read my story. I have cared for 11-year-old Livvy and her two siblings for three years now. Miss Livvy has had excruciating pain with migraines since 2020. She had scans done to reveal a mass on the base of her brain, along with a fluid-filled cyst in her spinal cord. She had surgery on August 29th to remove the mass and cyst, but we won’t know until mid-October when she gets more scans done if the surgery worked or not.

Unfortunately, I have witnessed that her family is really struggling to keep their heads above water with Livvy’s after surgery costs, on top of having to continue taking her regular regimen of roughly $5,000 a month migraine medications. With the cost of Livvy having to stay in the hospital for longer than anticipated due to complications, her family is having to bear the costs of special shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. To give you an idea of what her family is facing after surgery; $42,000 for hospital stay/surgery, 5-$6,000 a month for her migraine and after surgery medications, plus the special items she needs. Livvy’s parents also need to take care of her siblings who suffer from health issues among the everyday costs of living.

I am raising funds as I want to help Livvy’s family with absorbing as much of her after-surgery costs as possible, but I am only one person. So, I am asking for your help! Any money donated will go toward getting Livvy’s medications, her special items, and any outstanding hospital costs. Funds for meals would also be greatly appreciated as that would give Livvy’s family an inkling of time spent together. I cannot do this alone. Please consider helping me make this family’s life a little easier while Livvy is in the recovery stage of her surgery. If you aren’t able to donate at this time, please pass this along to your family, friends, and co-workers. It is amazing what we can accomplish when we come together as a community vs an individual.

Thank you again for your time and consideration in supporting Livvy during her recovery! May you be blessed beyond measure!
