About Amanda:
Amanda Peacock is a recognized distracted driving awareness advocate, performer, and purpose-driven leader dedicated to service. She currently serves as Miss Gloucester County 2026, and will be competing for Miss New Jersey for the 7th time in June. She works full time at the Princeton University Graduate School where she plans events and programs for PhD professional development. She is also a full time online graduate student at Arizona State University pursuing her Master's in Project Management.
Amanda's distracted driving advocacy has spanned 14 years, earning her national recognition and tangible impact. Her "Just Drive #ItCanWait" initiative has been recognized by two U.S. Congressmen and was featured in a national AT&T "#ItCanWait" campaign. She has delivered over fifty distracted driving presentations across New Jersey and partnered with leading advocacy organizations including the Toni and Baby RJ Foundation and End Distracted Driving (EndDD). Her advocacy earned her the Miss America Community Service Award, along with scholarships from AAA of South Jersey and the Toni & RJ Foundation. Through innovative approaches like creating a virtual run club called "Runners Against Distracted Driving" and writing and producing a viral music video promoting safe driving, Amanda continues to engage audiences in this life-saving message.
Amanda has been involved in the Miss America Opportunity for the last 14 years, earning 1st Runner Up to Miss NJ in 2024, and 2nd Runner Up in 2025, along with Talent and Evening Gown Preliminary Awards. A passionate vocalist, she has auditioned for America's Got Talent, American Idol, and The Voice, and has performed at prestigious events including the opening ceremony for the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk.
Beyond the stage, Amanda's commitment to service extends to veterans' causes, serving them through partnerships with Project Thanksgiving, VFW Posts, and American Legions across New Jersey. A fitness enthusiast who recently completed her first half marathon, Amanda leads by example by demonstrating that authentic leadership and perseverance can inspire others to pursue their own goals.
