🎄 IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! BENJAMIN'S BLESSINGS IS CELEBRATING 10 YEARS! 🎄
TEN YEARS! It's hard to believe that what started as a small family tradition has grown into something so much bigger than we could have ever imagined.
When Stella was born, we wanted to start a tradition of giving back during the Christmas season. Our hope was simple: bring a little joy to children and families facing difficult circumstances and help make sure that every child could experience the magic of Christmas.
What began as the Romano Family Toy Drive has since become Benjamin's Blessings, named in honor of our sweet angel, Benjamin Jett Romano.
Benjamin was born with Down syndrome and several severe medical complications. Although we were blessed with only three short days with him here on Earth, his life forever changed ours. He taught us more about love, faith, strength, and purpose than we could have ever imagined. While we wish more than anything that he could be here celebrating Christmas with his brother and sister, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy continues to bring joy to children and families year after year.
When we first learned that Benjamin would have Down syndrome, we were introduced to GiGi's Playhouse, an incredible organization dedicated to changing the way the world views Down syndrome through free educational, therapeutic, and career development programs. Their mission of acceptance, inclusion, and celebrating the potential of every individual holds a very special place in our hearts.
Over the years, Benjamin's Blessings has continued to grow, allowing us to expand our reach and support even more incredible organizations throughout the Houston area.
❤️ This year, we are proud to support SIX incredible organizations and programs:
🎁 The Children's Assessment Center (CAC) – Providing hope, healing, and critical services to children affected by sexual abuse.
🎁 GiGi's Playhouse Houston – Empowering individuals with Down syndrome and their families through free programs and lifelong support.
🎁 GiGi's Playhouse Sugar Land – Spreading acceptance and creating opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome in the Sugar Land community.
🎁 Cy-Hope – Bringing hope and opportunity to underserved children and families in the Cy-Fair community.
🎁 Entrusted – Supporting foster and adoptive families and the children in their care.
🎁 Cypress Assistance Ministries – Helping families in our community facing financial hardship and difficult circumstances.
Last year, because of your incredible generosity, we raised approximately $15,000! That meant more presents under Christmas trees, more smiles on children's faces, and more families reminded that they are loved and not forgotten.

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we've set our biggest fundraising goal yet: $20,000!
It's an ambitious goal, but if the last decade has taught us anything, it's that incredible things happen when a community comes together with a heart for giving.
But the truth is, none of this would be possible without YOU.
Every donation, every shared post, every toy purchased, and every word of encouragement makes a difference. Whether you've supported us since our very first toy drive or are just learning about Benjamin's Blessings, you are helping us turn heartbreak into hope and carry Benjamin's legacy forward.
We never imagined that a little boy who was with us for only three days could have such a lasting impact on the world. But through your generosity, his story continues to be written in the lives of children he never had the chance to meet.
Our mission has always been about more than toys. It's about sharing God's love, bringing hope to families, and reminding children that they matter.
