Hello , if you don't know me my name is Kaine and I was in a traumatic motorcycle accident in October 2020 paralyzing me from the chest down. Good news? My spinal cord is still partially intact though and there's still a chance for me to walk again. I have slight feeling in my legs but I'm not able to move them. I'm trying to take part in an epidural spinal cord stimulator program and it would require me to temporarily move out of state. Another option? There is also an increase of exoskeleton robotic devices that help build muscle memory in legs, unfortunately, they are fairly expensive.
All I want is to feel like I belong in any room I'm in, I suppose that's what I'm trying to do... Belong. I know it's a long journey, and I'll never quit until i walk again.
