I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer with lymph node involvement. I’ve now undergone two surgeries to remove the tumors and affected lymph nodes. The most recent surgery revealed significant scar tissue, and I’ll need at least a month of physical therapy before I can begin radiation and likely chemotherapy.
Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs—surgery, PT, imaging, treatment, lost wages, and day-to-day basics—are stacking up fast.
