My name is Diana, and I am a domestic violence survivor trying to rebuild my life while fighting serious health issues. My home has fallen into severe disrepair, and I no longer have the physical strength or financial ability to fix it on my own. I’m doing everything I can to stay safe, stay housed, and keep my dogs with me — they are my family, and losing them would break me.
The damage to my home has reached a point where it’s dangerous. Parts of the structure are failing, the roof needs urgent repair, and I’m struggling to maintain basic living conditions while sick. I’ve tried every option available to me, but without help, I’m at risk of losing my home entirely. If that happens, I will have nowhere to go, and I won’t be able to keep my dogs. That fear is what pushed me to finally ask for help.
