Hi, my name is Inderiah, and I'm a mom raising seven amazing kids.
After experiencing homelessness more than once in the past, finally getting into our home less than a year ago felt like a fresh start. We truly believed we had found stability.
On June 10, 2026, I had my annual rental inspection, which went very well. I met the property owner for the first time, and I was told that my lease renewal paperwork would be sent at the end of June.
Then, on July 2, 2026, I received an email saying that our lease would not be renewed and that my family must move out by August 31, 2026.
This came as a complete surprise.
Now, with the school year approaching, I have less than two months to find another home for my seven children while also covering moving expenses, application fees, and deposits.
If you've followed our family's journey, you know how hard I've worked to create joyful childhood memories despite difficult circumstances. My kids deserve stability, and I'm doing everything I can to make sure they have it.
