My sister-in-law, a rabbi, works hard in the community to make a difference. One of the most passionate people I know. Doing what she can to work with those in needs not just because she is clergy but because it's her makeup and what's in her heart. I would like to help her in her effort to make an ongoing life difference in this world. If you have already made a donation, thank you! Please pass this on to friends and family. One of her main focuses and challenges dealing with those without homes. Her community is up against challenges officials who come up with solutions not to help but to put additional obstacles against those who are in need yet want to live their life different. They want to have a job. They want to have a home. They want to be able to support themselves and their family. But it's a vicious circle for if they get a job they don't have a place to live. And if they try to find a place to live they don't have the money. This town is literally ripping out trees to avoid shelter, thinking that will make the problem go away rather than exasperating it. One of the things this community is trying to do is to provide shelter resources to help these fine people who deserve a chance like you and me to find a job. So they can get a home to support themselves. To get a decent meal for themselves and their family. As the cooler months are approaching let's remember all we are greatful for around us. The community is in the process of applying for funding through grants and working with other organizations but being up again so many obstacles it can be a challenge. I would like to do my best to help this Rabbi in her interfaith community and the town no matter how small with some financial means to help this ignored and sometimes mistreated population that they've already developed positive relationships with so they can get the help they need. Or at least a place to start while waiting for additional funding. As a career coach and a counselor I've offered my assistance gratis the best I can even if online since I do not live in the area. No matter where you live on this planet that sees this will you not help me in this effort for this small community. I myself live in PA but this community is Las Cruces New Mexico that I want to help. Yes it's a global problem but we have to start somewhere.  Many towns, many states, many communities have put their hearts together to come up with resources an assistance for those without homes so they can establish residency and make their place and contributions in this world. Many have no homes by no choice of their own yet they are trying endlessly to change their path but they need assistance. For themselves and in many cases, their children. My sister-in-law is leading an effort in her community to make a difference. And I would like to help her. It is our job as human beings on this planet to make a difference. To help one another. To do the right thing. Won't you please join me in this effort and make a donation however big or small. Make a donation in honor of a loved one. In memory of one who lives in your heart. In celebration of life. Together we can make a difference. Because it's the right thing to do. Thank you in advance for your help.

Happy fall. Here it is November, transition month for many. Transitioning from the fall weather getting ready for the cold winter months ahead. We enter into the holiday where we give thanks to family and friends around us, enter into family and friend get togethers with good food, eats, laughter, and then enter to the joy of the holidays, ending with entering into the new year that brings new joy, new goals, new beginnings. However you celebrate the season, look around you and as you give thanks remember there are many, right in our own country that won't have the opportunity for these transitions. Yet at the same time there are many things going on around the country that are positive, helping those without start a new beginning. Giving them new opportunities, food, jobs, support.
I do try as I know you do to give support wherever able in your community, in your houses of worship, within your network, at work, etc. Although programs are there there are some throughout the the country that need just a little added help. One of these programs that will help those without homes see a better tomorrow. A program that could spread across the country including in our own neighborhood. Some already exist but we need to make a difference and we need to start somewhere. My sister-in-law is one of those gems that is trying to facilitate a program in Las Cruces. As her vision supports my goals and my passion that is dear to my heart won't you please read the story below and please help me make a difference this holiday season. Because it's the right thing to do. No matter how big or small together we can make a difference.
If you are reading this and have already made a donation I thank you for the bottom of my heart. Please consider a donation in memory of a loved one. In honor of someone special in your life. Or just because. Because together we can make a difference.
Thank you in advance for your support.
The best of joy and good health to you and your loved ones this holiday season.
