This has been a rough year for our family. Chronic illness and pain has left most of us unable to work, which leaves us relying on a very fixed income.
In the winter, our well pump died. Despite multiple replacements, it just kept dying. We finally got one that worked and figured we were in the clear.
Unfortunately, while our water was off, a pipe busted in the bathroom wall, causing extensive damage. We were able to get the pipe fixed, so that we could continue to have running water and use that shower.
However, the water damage has caused us to need to replace the bathroom floor, the toilet, and the sink cabinet. We've bought some supplies here and there but we are simply tapped out now.
We know a lot of people are struggling with the current economy and we hate asking for money, but any assistance you can provide us would be greatly appreciated.
