Meet Loki ❤️🐾
Loki’s story didn’t start with love.
He spent his days neglected, left outside to starve, battling hunger, fleas, skin infections, and heartbreak. By the time he came into our lives, he was severely underweight, losing his hair, and had given up on believing people could be kind.
Since bringing Loki home, he’s experienced what it’s like to be part of a family. He goes on walks, plays with the kids, curls up inside the house, and is finally learning what it means to be safe and loved. His hair is slowly growing back, he’s gaining weight, and every day his sweet personality shines a little brighter.
Unfortunately, during his first vet visit we learned that Loki is heartworm positive. His treatment will be a long journey involving multiple vet visits, medications, strict rest, and ongoing care. We know it won’t be easy, but we have faith that God has a plan for Loki and will see him through this.
