Help Save Toby
Hello friends, family, and animal lovers,
My sweet boy Toby was adopted from the Humane Society and has been my beloved companion since he was a tiny kitten. He is now 5 years old and brings so much love and joy into my life everyday.
Unfortunately Toby has recently experienced a series of serious medical emergencies. Last week, he developed a blocked urethra, which prevented him from urinating. This condition caused his kidney values and electrolyte levels to rise to life-threatening levels, requiring immediate emergency treatment and hospitalization.
Although Toby received care and was discharged from the animal hospital, he has continued to suffer from urethral blockages. After additional testing, the veterinarian discovered that Toby also has gallbladder stones and will require surgery to remove them. In addition, he needs a Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery, a procedure that can help prevent future urinary blockages and give him the best chance at a healthy life.
The costs of Toby’s ongoing medical care have become overwhelming. Between emergency treatments, diagnostic tests, frequent veterinary visits, overnight hospital stays, and the surgeries he now needs, the expenses continue to grow beyond what I can manage alone.
