Fits and starts - that's what the last few years have felt like trying to launch a career as an educator and coach during the pandemic. In 2020, I was set to teach an pre-conference workshop at the Sex Down South conference in Atlanta, GA and we all know what happened in 2020.

About a month ago, however, I was told that the contract position I've worked for the last 11 years would be going away August 1. It seems like the universe is telling me to go for it where my new career is concerned but, of course, live workshops need supplies and, well, I'm in the process of lining up some other work to get me by but times are lean.
I've ordered the supplies - backjacks and towels and more - and all told I'm in just shy of $4000. If everyone I know could chip the cost of a cup of coffee or lunch, I'd be good to go for this workshop and beyond! In fact, I'm already talking with folx around the country to schedule more.
