I'm replacing the transmission in my vehicle. I have acquired a small personal loan for nearly all the funds. The loan is for $3,600 and full repair cost is $4,458 ( $2,858 for part and $1,600 for labor, fluids, shop)
I'm looking into a credit limit increase on my card and looking towards friends to help with the last bit.
Funding for loan will be 3 days, likely Monday the 29th, when I will purchase the transmission then it will take 3 days for the shop to receive. From there its at least two days for the work to finish likely the next Monday. I have a friend who helped get a vehicle for work to keep my new job, first full paycheck for orientation and training will be on the 3rd with my first full paycheck the 17th. (Was unemployed for 3 months before this.)
I've always hated asking for help but left with no choice.
