We call him MEATBALL.
A round, soft, “little potato” of a dog—like something meant to be loved, held, and safe. But when Sophie found him, there was nothing safe about his world!!
He had been tied to a pole.
Alone.
For over three days. ‼️
No food.
No water.
No one coming back for him.
Just waiting.💔
We don’t know how long he cried before he gave up. We don’t know how long he stood there, hoping the person who left him would return. What we do know is that by the time Sophie found him… he was still there. Still tied. Still helpless.
And somehow—still gentle. Still trusting.
That’s Meatball. 🥺
Now he’s finally off that pole… but he’s not okay. 😞
His ear is severely infected—painful, swollen, and untreated for far too long. He’s already had one antibiotic shot, but that’s just the beginning. He needs real aftercare. He needs monitoring. He needs relief from the constant pain he’s been living in.
He also needs:
- Neutering
- Full vaccinations
- Continued medical care
- Heartworm testing
- Dog food
- Pet supplies (dog leash, collar, dog bed, crate etc)
🙏🏼He’s so close to a fresh start—but without treatment, he risks falling right back into suffering.
