Hi everyone,
I’m creating this Spotfund for a great friend of mine, a hardworking single mom of five amazing kids who is currently facing one of the hardest moments of her life. She’s been doing everything she can to keep her family stable, but after being placed on unavoidable medical leave from August to October, she fell behind on her bills including her rent. She is now being asked to leave her apartment by December 15th. She does not have family other than her children and isn't sure where she will take them.
She’s always been strong, determined, and resourceful, but sometimes even the strongest people need help. Between caring for her kids, working long hours, and trying to make ends meet after that unexpected setback, she’s stretched thinner than ever. With the holidays coming up, she’s just trying to put a roof over her children’s heads and some hope in their hearts.
She doesn't know I'm doing this, but I'm hoping we can come together to help her come up with a deposit for a new home, before December 15th so her and her children are not left without a home during the holiday season
