In Memory of Our Beloved Pets:

Help Build the Rainbow Bridge

 

The idea for Gia’s Rainbow Bridge Memorial Trail was born from love, grief, and the hope of healing. After losing my beloved Gia in September 2023 from veterinary malpractice, I began searching for a way to keep her memory alive, not only for myself, but for every family who has experienced the heartbreak of losing a cherished pet.

This park is being created as a peaceful, healing space where people can come to remember, reflect, and celebrate the unbreakable bond we share with our animals. It will be a place of comfort for those navigating grief, and a place of beauty for the community to enjoy together.

The location will be in the village of Lindenhurst, and the project will start soon.

Your donation will help us create:

•  A hand-painted rainbow bridge at the heart of the park

•  A memorial rock garden where families can leave messages or painted rocks/ stones with their pet's name on it

•  Reflection benches and quiet seating areas

•  Thoughtful signage with comforting messages and poems

•  A welcoming space for remembrance events and community connection

 

This trail will honor all pets who left paw prints on our hearts.
