On August 28th,
my grandpa was leaving work just as he does everyday when he was hit from behind by a drunk driver going 114 MPH. My grandpa suffered a traumatic brain Injury, several broken vertebrae and a broken leg. He got surgery on his neck for the broken vertebrae and we thought he was progressing. However on September 6th he had to be rushed to emergency brain surgery (craniotomy). Before surgery he was unresponsive and has not woken up since. He is on life support fighting for his life. He was the only one working (my grandma is retired) so this is putting a huge financial burden on my grandma as well as other family members having to travel to nashville to visit him.
