I'm putting together this fundraiser as quickly as I can. This is about my cousin Liana's 14 year old son, Sammy, and his unexpected drowning death that occurred yesterday in Ogden, UT. As you can imagine, the family is still reeling in shock and grief. At this time they have little to no resources to deal with the ramifications of this tragedy.
I reached out to her older sister Brita for help in creating this and she provided pictures and these are her words:
I am sitting here writing this in complete shock.
My beautiful Nephew, Samuel Creel, has lost his life in a tragic accident at 14 years young. He fell into an icy pond and wasn't found for over 2 hours. He was then life flighted to children's hospital in SLC Utah and we lost him that same evening. This horrific accident took place, on Jan 27th in the late afternoon.
Sammy has lived with Autism his entire life. He was a loving big brother, who enjoyed spending time with his little brother. He also liked playing video games, working on computers and the outdoors. Samuel loves his toy police car and has expressed interest in becomming a policeman.
My sister loves her sons with all her heart and I feel her pain and sorrow. We are all still greatly in shock and want to be there for her and everyone in our family who has had the pleasure of knowing and loving Sammy.
We appreciate any help that can be provided towards Sammys arrangements, in this tragic time. 🙏❤️🩹
