About The Pete Frates Family Foundation:
The success of the Ice Bucket Challenge has led to new treatments and drugs to help combat ALS, but as lifespans are increased, the cost and burden of caring for ALS patients is increasing. Very little of the money raised for ALS during the Ice Bucket Challenge went to the actual care of patients. So we created the Pete Frates Family Foundation in support of the tens of thousands of patients living with ALS today.
